For because she said she couldn't draw a fishing scene so I tried one! XD
I can't draw a fishing rod either so I had to find an idea... This is my idea:

When Oishi discovered that his new friend Tezuka loved fishes, he invited him to his house for homework, but what a surprise, when he came back bringing tea, to understand that their love for fishes was quite different indeed! ^^;

My lineart was quite messy, so I tried a different technique for colouring. It looks quite messy too... ^o^; There are no shadows at all, and the perspective looks a bit strange, and many other errors... but it's still ok I hope. ^.^ I thought avoiding drawing a fishing rod would make it easier, but I ended up having to draw a fishtank instead! ^^; I spent way too much time on this, I wanted to have it ready for the 1st of April (because April Fool is an April Fish in French! XD)

Well, u pointed out most of yr big tecincal errors in yr discription, so at least we know you're smart enought to see it. ;) some ppl ask me too look at their stuff and then are SHOCKED i can find anyhting 'wrong' with it...lol

anyways, regular tecnical errors asside, the bigest thing i think u need to work on would be the basic layout of the pic, ie, yr not conveying yr story well enough. Whe i first looked at this peice, i didnt know what was going on; i would have used a more narrow veiw point, perhaps a direct close-up of the one charictor on the fish tank with the surprised friend directly in the doorway behind; this would have also cut down on perspetive...which i also hate.;) Also, the expresstion on yr 'hungry' charictor is more one of bordom than deviousness. I'd make him look eger, leaning over the tank, coxing the reluctant fish with one of thouse fish catcher nets, (no fishing line!) while keeping the expresstion of the backround host the same. this would overall amke the pic more dynamic. :aww:
